Hello, my name is Felicia Rogers, and I am proud to serve as the 4th Grade Social Studies and Science teacher at Carver Elementary School. This school year marks my second year teaching in the Monroe City Schools district, and I could not be more excited about the journey ahead.

Teaching is more than just a profession for me—it’s an opportunity to inspire curiosity, guide learning, and encourage students to see the world with open eyes. I enjoy creating lessons that connect classroom learning to the real world, making history and science come alive for my students.

Outside of school, I find joy in many hobbies that enrich both my personal life and my teaching. I love reading, which keeps me learning and exploring new ideas. Cooking allows me to be creative, while my passion for history often inspires the stories and lessons I share with students. Traveling is another passion of mine, giving me opportunities to experience different cultures and perspectives that I can bring back into the classroom.

As I step into this new school year, I am filled with excitement and optimism. I look forward to the growth, discoveries, and accomplishments my students will achieve. Together, we will build not only knowledge but also confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
