Eureka Math2
Every kindergarten student will receive a "Week at a Glance and Family Math Letters” on Mondays. The “Week at a Glance” will include weekly sight words, tricky words, Math, Social Studies, Science objectives and Math News. These pages will be posted on "Class Dojo" for students and parents. PLEASE keep all sight words and/or lists at home.
Zearn
Zearn Math focuses deeply on a few interconnected math concepts, helping students build a strong and deep mathematical foundation that allows them to apply concepts flexibly to a variety of situations, contexts, and problems. These concepts are spiraled within and throughout grade levels in the curriculum, so students continue to develop a coherent understanding of the big ideas of math as they learn elementary math and beyond.
Kindergarten students will complete 3 Zearn (Computer-based) lessons per week.
Family Math Letter
Family Math Letter is a brief description created to give parents and students a better understanding of the concepts found in Eureka Math2. The Family Math Letter features the current topic we are studying! The Family Math Letter will be posted on Class Dojo weekly.
Homework
Homework will be given Monday through Thursday, and sometimes Friday. Each student will have a problem set, exit ticket (which is done as a whole group in class) homework helper and homework.
