Welcome to Kindergarten! I am so excited to be your childs Kindergarten teacher this year.
Homework: Homework will be given Monday-Thursday (no homework on Friday's) in your child's take home folder. Please check this daily. One side will have things you need to return to school and the other will have things that you can keep at home.
Attendance: If your child will be absent from school, please e-mail me at [email protected] or use seesaw to let me know.
Grading Policy: Kindergarten uses a Standards Based Report Card for grading. Grades will be identified as follows:
ES = Exceeds Expectations (I know and can do it well enough to make connections that were not taught. I can also explain it)
MS = Meets Expectations (I know and can do everything that was taught with very little or no mistakes)
AS = Approaching Standards (I am starting to get it with help, but still get a little confused)
NS = Needs Support (I do not know it, or can not do it, yet
