Theme 8; Week 3 Animals: “Reptiles”
Concept Skills: ▪ Students will learn: Reptiles are cold-blooded, have scales or a shell, and lay eggs; Dinosaurs were reptiles that lived on Earth many years ago; Syllables in words can be segmented( take away) and blended (put together);
A tenframe can help estimate how much fewer or greater a quantity is compared to 10 or5; Numbers 6-10 can be broken apart into smaller groups (5+3) so that they are easier to identify.
