Every week in music I pick one student to recieve treasure chest. This is a bucket of small toys, candy, and stickers that I keep in my room. Every student will recieve a turn at treasure chest. I pick a student who has followed the music guidelines that week or showed major improvement in behavior from the following week. I highlight their name on my roster. Once their name is highlighted, they can not recieve treasure chest again until everyone else's name is highlighted. 

 

 

This is my way of making sure every child is rewarded, not just for being perfectly behaved, but also for striving to be better every day. I do not look for perfection, I am more interested in progress and loving students where they are.
