Dear Fourth Grade All-Star,

 

Welcome to the 4W Family! I hope you are having a wonderful summer and I can’t wait to meet you on the first day of school! There are so many exciting things we will be learning and doing together this year. Fourth Grade is a very special and important year. It is a year that requires more responsibility and higher expectations in the classroom. I am so happy that I get to guide and support you during this exciting time in your life.

 

I look forward to getting to know you and learning about your interests! Here are some things that I enjoy. I love to spend time with my family, my cat named Pumpkin, and my friends. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks, relaxing by the pool, and reading new books. This summer was very busy. I traveled to Boston Massachusets, Naples Flordia, and Nashville Tennesee. I loved getting to explore all these places. The most exciting part of my summer was getting engaged! I cant wait to here about everything you like to do! 

 

We will begin our school year by getting to know each other and learning about our school, classroom, and our 4th grade routines. For the first day of school I would love for you to bring in a summer “souvenir” that represents something you did this summer. This will be a fun way to get to know each other! 

A few things to note: 

*The first day of school is Thursday, September 7th. 

*Please bring in a healthy snack to eat and a bottle of water with your name on it. 

*I have all of your Back to School supplies for you. You don't need to buy any supplies for the start of the year.

*We will have Gym every Tuesday, so please remember to wear your sneakers!
