Hello, welcome to the New School Year 2024 - 2025. My name is Mr. Jimenez, and I will be your child's English Teacher this school year. As a former ESL student I understand the importance of learning a new language, but also the importance of learning a new culture, making new friends and integrating into a new society. In my class students will have an opportunity to learn and practice all elements of the English language through a variety of activities that will include reading, writing and speaking, while incorporating elements of American society and current events that will help them in their integration process.
Hola, Bienvenidos al nuevo curso escolar 2024 - 2025. Mi nombre es Mr. Jimenez, y soy el profesor de ESL de su hijo/hija en este año escolar. Tengo una conexión cercana con el programa de ESL, ya que fui un estudiante de ESL, y sé de la importancia de aprender un nuevo idioma, pero también soy consciente de la necesidad de aprender sobre una nueva cultura, cultivar nuevas amistades y poder integrarse en una sociedad completamente nueva y diferente. En esta clase los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de aprender y practicar los diferentes elementos del idioma Inglés a través de diferentes actividades que incluyen lectura, escritura y dicción oral, mientras exploramos diferentes elementos de la cultura americana y eventos sociales que los ayudara en su proceso de integración.
