Scholars -
Eighth grade is an exciting year, and I share your excitement. I am excited to meet you, get to know you, and watch you blossom into more critical thinkers as you find your own unique VOICE. I encourage you to embrace all the experiences this year will bring while remembering that your main objective is to be the very best scholar you possibly can. That means you 1) Show up to class 2) Pay attention in class 3) Participate in class 4) Complete & Submit your assignments on time 5) Ask for help if you're confused.
Families -
I know you can't believe they're in eighth grade already, but here we are. Even though they're the oldest in the school this year, your involvement is still critical. I look forward to working with you to get the very best out of our kids this year. Yup, they're mine now too! :) During the first week of school, expect a quick parent questionnaire to be sent home. Completing it quickly and thoroughly will let me know how to best reach our scholar, and it will also count as the first homework grade of the year. Let's get them off to a great start!
