Hi! My name is Yuri Dias and I am thrilled to be your ESL Teacher! I graduated from Kean University in 2005 with my teaching degree in Elementary Education and Spanish. In 2009, I graduated with my Masters in Bilingual/Bicultural Education. My family is from Spain and I can speak both Spanish and Portuguese. This is my second year as a teacher at JFK Primary, but this is my 19th year teaching. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade as a bilingual teacher. I have taught grades 1-8 as an ESL teacher.

 

When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my family.  I've been married for 12 years and have two beautiful children. My daughter, Emilia is 10 and my son Lucas is 4! Along with teaching and my family, I love iced coffee and reading! I can't wait to get to know all of you!
