Welcome to 6th Grade!

 

 

 

Welcome back to  the 2026-2027 school year. I hope everyone had a great summer and enjoyed their time off. My name is Lisa DeMarco and I will be teaching 6th grade math.

 

I am looking forward to meeting all of my students and their families. Sixth grade is an exciting journey and this year we will be learning many new concepts and expanding on previously learned skills. 

 

This year, my goals are to help students grow in math and develop skills to solve everyday problems, create a classroom that fosters critical thinking and perseverance, build strong organizational skills, encourage students to take responsibility for their learning, and establish an environment which encourages mutual respect and trust. Working together to build a strong connection between home and school will help me achieve these goals and ensure we have a wonderful and successful school year.

 

Please review the supplies list page for everything your child needs for math class this school year.  Students should come to class everyday well prepared with their textbook, a charged chromebook and a pencil case that includes all of the necessary supplies.
