Welcome to 6th Grade!

 

 

 

Welcome back to  the 2024-2025 school year. I hope everyone had a great summer and enjoyed their time off. My name is Lisa DeMarco and I will be teaching 6th grade math.

 

I am looking forward to meeting all of my students and their families. Sixth grade is an exciting journey and this year we will be learning many new concepts and expanding on previously learned skills. 

 

My goals are to help students develop skills they will use in the future; create a classroom that fosters critical thinking and perseverance; and create an environment which encourages mutual respect and trust. A strong connection between home and school will help me achieve these goals and will benefit the students tremendously.

 

Please review the supplies list page for everything your child needs for math class this school year.  Students should come to class everyday well prepared with their textbook, chromebook and a pencil case that includes all of the necessary supplies.
