Mr. Sell follows the school wide grading scale for all assignments. As it states in the student handbook:
"Grades are an evaluation of what you have learned. They become a part of a permanent record that lasts as long as you live. Institutions of higher learning, potential employers, and the various military services are all interested in your high school records. We only keep them— you make them."

I am so very excited to be your teacher this school year and look forward to getting to know each one of my students and help them to become amazing learners in English/Language Arts/Pubic Speaking. As a teacher, it is my job to assist you in unlocking the creative potential within each one of you as it relates to English/Language Arts/Public Speaking. As a student, it is your job to trust me in this process, be open to new experiences and stepping outside of your comfort zone, and to do your very best everyday! I just recently moved to the West New York area four years ago from rural Illinois and am starting my 23rd year as a classroom teacher. I have always had a passion for teaching Reading, Writing, and Speech, and I truly love it when I see my students finally tap into their creative side and produce various forms of writing pieces from the different genres. You are more talented than you realize and your voice matters and is important! Let me help you learn how to express it!
Currently, I live in North Bergen with my spouse and our three dogs, Little Lokito, Toby, and Baby Girl.
