Hello All!
Welcome to Mr. Cote's 7th Grade World History Course. We will be covering the following topics throughout the year.
Unit 1: The Classical Civilizations of Rome and Africa
Unit 2: The Classical Civilizations of China, India and Japan
Unit 3: Expanding Exchanges and Encounters
Unit 4: Native Peoples and Foundations of Early America
We will also be trying to make connections from the content to the current world through activities like current events and debate day. Social studies is where the students should have the opportunity to express their thoughts and opinions. I strongly encourage an open classroom where dialogue and debate can respectfully happen throughout the year.
All assignments will be shown on Infinite Campus and Google Classroom. Please feel free to email me about any assignments if you have questions.
