Welcome to First Grade!

Hello, families!

 

   My name is Ms. Weadock, and I am so excited to be your child’s first-grade teacher this year! This will be my fifth year teaching, and all five of those years have been spent teaching first grade at JFK!

   I graduated from the University of Delaware in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education. While at UD, I also completed minors in Disability Studies and Human Development & Family Services. I earned my Master’s degree in Multi-Sensory Reading Instruction from Fairleigh Dickinson University and am certified in Orton-Gillingham literacy instruction.

• I have dual citizenship in Ireland.
• I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was in first grade!

 

   I can’t wait to meet each of you and begin our year together. I’m looking forward to a school year filled with learning, growth, laughter, and lots of fun!
