Greetings and a most sincere welcome to you!
My name is Heather Knous and I am the inclusion teacher for students with special needs in grades pre-k through second grade. I am truly looking forward to beginning my second year at Minnie Ruffin Elementary and I cannot wait to see what the 2023-2024 school year has in store for us!
I will be assisting students (and that means ANY student needing support) in the regular education classrooms on the lower hall, as well as providing additional support to individual students and small groups in my classroom. Our focus will be on remediation and reinforcement of skills in Math and ELA, which includes reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension.
