Full-Day Schedule

 

Arrival: 8:40 am door number 5 (schoolyard side)

 

Breakfast: Please let me know of any food restrictions or allergies

 

Greeting/Message Board: We sing songs to welcome everyone and write messages with symbols and words to prepare the children for the day.

 

Small-Group Time: Students work in two groups. An activity will de be developed based on children's interests and particular skills, materials, or content areas that are suited for the children's development. 

 

Planning Time: Students make a plan by developing and sharing specific ideas about what they want to do during work time. (Which area, materials, or who they would like to play with)

 

Work Time: Students follow through with their plan. (Learning areas include: house area, art area, toy area, block area, book and writing area, sand and water area.) 

 

Clean Up 

 

Recall Time: Students will have time to reflect and share what they did during work time.

 

Outdoor Time: Students will participate in games and activities that will develop their large muscles.

 

Lunch: Students will participate in appropriate meal-time conversations with peers and adults.

Snack Time: Please send a snack daily

 

Large Group Time: A sense of community is built during large group time. Students and teachers come together for movement and music activities, gross motor skills, interactive storytelling, and other shared experiences.

 

Dismissal: 2:40 pm on regular days and 12:30 pm on half days from door number 5.
