Dear Parent /Guardian,

 

The following are rules for grading and some of the expectations for our classroom. I feel that it is very important that we work together to make sure that the rules are followed in order to create the best possible learning situation for your child. 

 

      Rules

      1.   Be respectful at all times.

            a.   No talking when someone else is talking,

            b.   No name calling,

      2.   Don't call out; Please raise your hand to answer questions.

      3.   Always be prepared for class, recommended materials are.

            a.   Pencils only for math class!

            b.   Binder and folders. Binders will need page dividers and line paper.

      4.   Homework copied and completed EVERY day.

 

 

      Grades will be made up of the following in accordance with district policy

Test                                             40 %

 

Quizzes                                           25 %

 

Homework                                        5 %

 

Mathematical Practices                  15 % 

 

Quarterly Assessments                 15 %  (District Policy)
