Welcome to 1st Grade! My name is Laterrica Jackson and I am honored to be your child’s teacher. This is my 4th year as an educator, and I so proud to be a certified teacher serving the Minnie Ruffin Family. I will have the privilege of teaching your child English Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies this year.
I believe teaching your child is a privelage and a tremendous responsibility. My goal is to create a positive, safe, engaging and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued and can grow academically and socially.
First grade is a year filled with learning, growth & exciting new adventures. I look forward to partnering with you and your child to amke this an amazing and successful school year.
Homework will be sent home every day except Friday, so make sure to check your child’s binder.
