Robotics will be learned in a hands-on environment and driven by group work, observations, questioning and discovery!
Materials
These are items that you will be using in class most days

Headphones (no wireless earbuds)
Grading Scale:
A = 93%-100%
B = 85%-92%
C = 75%-84%
D = 67%-74%
F = 0%-66%
Absences and Makeup Work
-
If you are absent from class, YOU are responsible for getting and making up any missing work
-
See me - not during class - to get help, ask questions about missing work, or make up tests/quizzes

You will have an extension equal to the days that you are absent to make up work
Late Work
-
Students have 5 days to submit late assignments with a mild penalty. After 5 days, students can submit late work for a maximum grade of 50%.

Long-term assignments have a 1 day grace period for late work submitted. After that, a 10% penalty per day will be assessed.

Extensions will be given to students who contact me before an assignment is due to request one

Additional Policies

NO PHONES - Everything needed for class is accessible on your Chromebooks. Phones are not permitted for use in class, and should be kept at home..
-
No warnings will be given - if the phone is being used, it will be taken
-
This includes airpods in ears during class activities
-
Food/Drinks - Food, drinks, gum, candy, etc. are all not allowed during class time
-

S – Follow directions when asked the first time

O – Bring all materials to class and leave with them

A – Turn in all work on time and ask questions if you are unsure about something

R – Treat each person in the room with respect including yourself
Beginning of class 🡪 Take a seat, get out class materials, log on to Google Classroom, submit any homework assignments, complete the bell-ringer, and wait for further instruction.
During class 🡪 Be an active participant in your learning. Listen, collaborate, and ask questions.
End of class 🡪 Clean up your area then return to your seat until dismissal by me.
