Here is some important information about our days at school:

π΄ LUNCH
The children will eat lunch in the cafeteria. Students have the option of buying lunch or bringing lunch from home. If your child brings a lunch from home, please make sure to label the lunchbox and all containers. Please practice opening and closing all items. More information and menus for the school lunch program can be found on our school website.
π SNACK
Kindergarten students will have snack during the school day. Please send in a small, healthy snack and labeled water bottle with your child each day. Remember to check labels to ensure the items are nut free. The snack can be packed in your child's lunchbox or separately.
πFOLDER
A folder will be provided for your child to use. This folder will go back and forth from school to home each day. Please check the folder daily. Anything being sent into school can be put inside the folder.
βΏHOME & SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
A great way for us to stay connected is through the Seesaw Learning Portfolio. At the beginning of the school year, you will receive personalized login information to access your child's portfolio. At Back to School Night, we will practice exploring and navigating the app together. The best ways to contact me are by sending me an email ([email protected]) or message me using the app. I'm very much looking forward to establishing a strong home and school connection in order to help each child reach his/her goals and have the best Kindergarten year.
π BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
Birthdays are so special and we love to celebrate them at school. Our celebrations do not include food but we find extra ways to make each child feel extra special! Some options for celebrating include: the birthday child bringing small items to give to classmates (pencils, erasers, bubbles, etc), having a guest reader join us to read a special book to the class, or sending in special napkins to enjoy for our snack time. We also have a wonderful birthday celebration experience that we will enjoy together no matter what!
