Dear Families & Friends,
Welcome! I am so excited to work with you this year! We are going to learn many new things together and make many new friends in Kindergarten!
Together we will make it a wonderful school year as we build our learning community. Communication is key to a successful year. I'm excited for our partnership in learning! We will be using the Seesaw app as one way to stay connected and share between home and school. More details about this and staying connected will be discussed at Back to School Night.
Below are some important dates to remember where we will meet and get ready for Kindergarten:
- Wed. 8/28 Kindergarten Bagel Breakfast provided by PTO @ 9:30am
- Wed. 8/28 Bus Orientation for Kindergarteners @ 10:30 - 11:30am
- Wed. 8/28 Kindergarten Open House @ 10:00 - 10:30am
- Thu. 8/29 🚍 FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 🏫
- Mon. 9/2 Labor Day - Schools Closed
- Fri. 9/13 OFRS School Spirit Day! Spirit wear or school colors
- Thu. 9/26 Back to School Night
As we get ready to meet each other, please prepare to send in a picture of your family (size 4x6 will work best) to hang in our classroom! It will be on display to help remind us of all the important members in our learning community that help us learn and grow.
Get ready to read, write, draw, sing, play games, and use your imagination! Kindergarten is a magical place of growth and I'm looking forward to a fabulous year of fun and learning together.
