Week of November 18, 2025:  

 

 

Reading/ELA: We will be working on point of view this week. Students will learn how to identify the point of view in a story and the perspective of characters using text details.  They will also be able to recognize how a narrator's point of view affects the way in which events are described. 

 

Social Studies: This week we will be discussing the Medieval African Empires. We will begin with West African geography and culture. Then, we will study each kingdom individually. We will study the Kingdom of Ghana, Mali, and Songhai.
