Week of February 16, 2026:  

 

 

Reading/ELA:  We will continue working on our unit based on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.  Review theme, comparing/contrasting, point of view, and vocabulary.

 

 

An assessment on these skills will be given Friday, February 20th.

 

 

 

 

Social Studies: This week we will be discussing Civilizations in South America, specifically the Aztec Civilization. Students will read and participate in discussions about the including geography, agriculture, housing, clothing, government, trade/economics, and religion/customs.

Important dates this week:

• Friday, February 20th-- 100th Day of School! To celebrate students may dress as a pop star or rock star to show that they ROCKED 100 days, or wear a 100th day shirt with jeans. All outfits must be school appropriate.
