Week of February 10, 2026:  

 

 

Reading/ELA:  We will continue working on our new unit based on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.  Review theme, comparing/contrasting, point of view, and vocabulary.

 

 

 

Social Studies: This week we will be discussing Civilizations in South America, specifically the Inca Civilization. Students will read and participate in discussions about the including geography, agriculture, housing, clothing, government, trade/economics, and religion/customs.

 

An assessment on the Inca Civilization will be given Friday, February 13th.

Important dates this week:

• Wednesday, February 11th-- Valentine's Buddy Pictures $2. Students can wear Valentine's Day shirts, red, or pink shirts with school appropriate jeans.
• Friday, February 13th-- Valentine's Day Celebration. Students can bring candy to exchange. We have 23 students in our class.  Students can wear Valentine's Day shirts, red, or pink shirt, spirit shirts, or a Mardi Gras shirt with school appropriate jeans.
