Spelling Choice Menu
Spelling words will begin in Unit 3 or our curriculum. Until then I'd like for your child to study their weekly "Word Work." Always, review upper and lower case letter recognition and corresponding letter sounds.
Choose one activity to complete each night on the lined paper in your homework packet. There will be two sheets of paper, please put Monday on one side and Tuesday on the back of the first sheet then put Wednesday on the front of the second sheet and Thursday on the back.

2x Write each of your words two times each. |
Pyramid Words Spell each word one letter at a time. Ex: c ca cat |
Picture Perfect Write the word and draw a picture to represent it. |

Sentences Choose five of your words and write a sentence with each one. |
Free Space Do any activity you would like with your spelling words! |
Rainbow Words Write your words two times each in different colors. |

Vowel Search Write each word and circle all the vowels: |
Sizes Write your words three times: regular sized, really big, and really small. |
Practice Test Take a practice spelling test and have a family member check your work.
