Dear Parents, Guardians, Family and Friends:
First, I pray all is well with every one of you. My name is QuaNeisha Sims and I will be your child's Social Studies/ Science Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This is my 3nd year teaching, but my first full year teaching 5th grade Social Studies/Science. I am honored to be able to teach these wonderful worlds to you child. In my classroom, I expect every student to follow all procedures, expectations, and classroom rules. I treat all students equally and honestly. I do not take sides and I respect all insights and opinions from each student.
I will use Class Dojo/Remind, email, parent/teacher confronts, and phone calls to discuss any topic or concern you may have. If there are any questions or concerns, please give me a call directly at the school (318-322-9533) (extension 4583) to schedule an appointment, email ([email protected]), or through class Dojo /Remind message. I check all forms of communication frequently. I expect to have a valuable communication and trusting parent/ teacher relationship for your child’s success. If you have not joined class Dojo, I encourage you to add your class’s homeroom code. I will also use Remind for classroom communication and announcements. The 4th Grade remind code is: @babybullp5.
