Week of May 20th

 

 

Fundations:

Group A - tapping out and blending CVC words

Group B - reading and using CVC words in stories and sentences

Group C - decoding words with suffixes

 

Math:

Group A - using a number line to add and subtract

Group B - area and perimeter

Group C - multiplying 2-digit by 1-digit

 

  

We will continue to practice our speaking and listening skills during our daily morning meeting as we greet one another, share, and do a team-building activity. 

 

For the remainder of the year, we will be doing a unit on the ocean. We will learn about the habitat and different animals that live there through various texts and media presentations. Students will write a research/informational piece on the ocean and a chosen animal.
