Optional Homework

 

Second grade understands the importance of reinforcing academic skills at home, while balancing time with family, extra curricular activities, and social events. Homework will be optional and can be easily done any night of the week.

 

 

Online Fun

Your child can access our online games and resources from home using his/her laminated Clever Badge. XtraMath, Prodigy (reading or math), IReady and Smarty Ants make homework fun and engaging.

 

Monthly Reading Log 

Your child will bring home a monthly Reading Log the first school-day of the month. The reading log allows your child to keep track of his or her reading throughout the month. Students who read at home and return a log at the end of the month will receive tickets or a prize!

 

 

Math and Literacy Practice

At the begining of each week your child will bring home one math and one ELA worksheet to complete. Weekly homework is due on Friday.
