Welcome to the 2nd and 4th Grade Learning Lab! My name is Cindy Melissa Blood-Bernal—though I am better known to my students as Ms. Melissa. As the Lead Special Education Teacher here at BCES, I am a firm believer in the growth mindset. I know that every child possesses a unique way of learning and the potential to achieve great things, and I am honored to support them on their educational journey. I value open communication and look forward to partnering with you this year. Last week of school for the 2025-2026 school year! Half-days with an 11:45 dismissal time on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Friday is Record Day with no school for students.
