I. Purpose/ Eureka Math 2
Eureka Math 2 is a revolutionary math program designed to ensure that students move beyond rote memorizing to build enduring math knowledge.
I. Purpose/ Amplify Science
Amplify Science aims to empower students to think, read, write, and argue like professional scientists and engineers by fusing practical investigations, literacy-rich activities, and engaging digital tools.
II. Competencies/ Mathematics
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. Have a clear understanding of using math manipulatives
2. Be prepared for seventh grade math
3. Score a basic or above on the LEAP 2025
4. Develop life skills to build and grow upon

1. You are expected to come to class prepared to learn knowledge about the content of the course.
2. Actively participate in class discussions as well as group discussions.

V. Course Requirements
Regular and prompt participation, reading of assigned materials, successful completion of examinations, successful completions of any given assignment, proper submission and
format of written paper. Each set of Eureka Math books given by your instructor must be brough to class
VI. Prolonged Absentees
It is the desire of Minnie Ruffin Elementary School to provide all students with optimum learning experiences. If there are circumstances, due to disability, medical, family or any reason that will cause an absentee of three consecutive days of more in this course, it is necessary for you to inform Ms. Miller immediately. If you do not notify your teacher, it will be assumed that you do not require special assistance. Class work can be made up with an excused absence.
