My name is Jessika Campbell (formerly Markland) and I will be your child's Third Grade teacher this year! I am very excited for this school year and to work with your child to help them grow academically, socially and emotionally. 

My classroom is the SpEd room, meaning there will be an additional teacher in the room for the day. This teacher is Mrs. Schmidt. She has over 20 years of experience educating students in the ICR, Autism, LLD and MD settings. 

To start off, I would like to tell you a little more about myself personally and professionally. I grew up locally in Manasquan and attended The University of South Carolina where I graduated with a degree in Public Relations. After working in PR, I went back to school to fulfill my dream of becoming a teacher. I attended Rider University and graduated with a Masters in Education. I have been teaching for 10 years. I worked in Jersey City for 4 years as a 3rd, 4th and 6th grade teacher.  I started at MES in Winter 2021. Personally, I enjoy traveling, reading, playing with my dog and of course, the beach!
