REQUIRED MATERIALS
Most materials will be provided to students on an ‘as needed’ basis but the following materials should always be brought to class:
- Laptop + Charger (freshman only)
- Binder/Folder (can be combined with another subject)
- Pencils and Pens
- Plenty of Lined Paper
- Calculator (if possible)
GRADING POLICIES
Grades are a combination of participation, assignments, projects, quizzes, unit tests, and semester exams. The grading scale can be seen below:
A……….100-93%
B……….92-85%
C ………84-75%
D……….74-67%
F……….66% and below
***Test Policy*** If you earn a test grade that is less than 67%, you will be allowed to retake the test within 2 weeks of receiving the grade to increase that score. It is up to the student to set-up the make-up with me.
BEHAVIOR POLICIES
***One-Warning Policy*** If negative behavior persists after non-verbal or polite corrections from the teacher, the student will be given ONE WARNING. If the negative behavior continues after the one warning, the teacher will follow through with appropriate disciplinary actions (ie. calling parent/guardian, minor tracking form, or behavior report).
