AP Physics 1 Summer Assignment

 

Congratulations on your decision to enroll in AP Physics 1! For the upcoming school year, 2024-2025, AP Physics 1 will be taught by Dr. Arapaki and Mr. Wargo. 

 

Mastery of certain math skills is a key to successful completion of this course and a high score on the AP exam.  Therefore, the summer assignment includes a review of some math operations, including significant figures, scientific notation, and unit conversions.

 

The problems are identical for all teachers of this course, but there may be differences in submission requirements for each instructor. When your class and teacher assignments are available, please read the instructions available on the school's OnCourse web page for your assigned teacher.  In the meantime, you can rest assured that the instructions below will apply to all AP Physics 1 students.
