Scholastic Book Wizard

Scholastic has a book wizard where you can either put the name of a book in and it will let you know what level the book is for or you can find books on the level your child is on by clicking on the level.

The website is:

http://www.scholastic.com/bookwizard/

During our first conference I will share with you their DRA Guided Reading Level, from there you will be able to search the level of books your child wants to read and make sure they are Just Right Books!

Spelling:

We are using the Fundations Programs and differentiating with the Words Their Way program. Both are hands-on, developmentally driven approaches to word study that illustrate how to integrate and teach children phonics, vocabulary, and spelling skills.  We are also using Spellingcity.com, in conjunction with Words Their Way
