Welcome you to the start of a new school year! I will be your child’s Speech teacher. I'm very happy to have your child in my classroom and I consider it of prime importance that you be an active part of your child's education.

You are invited to call me or schedule an appointment during my planning period (3rd Period - 9:30-10:20) any time you have a question concerning your child's progress. You can stay informed by checking the Parent Command Center where grades are posted weekly, as well as a progress report that is sent out halfway through each 9-week grading period.

It is important that you and your child be informed of the standards of classroom behavior so everyone knows what is expected. I will be clear to outline rules, guidelines, and expectations for our class. I also hope that you will advise me if your child has a problem academically, socially, or emotionally at any point throughout the school year. Should your child become discouraged or fearful about school, please communicate with me so that we can discover the cause of the problem.

I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be your child's teacher this year, and I am looking forward to meeting each of you.
