My name is Laura "Betsy" Halphen and I'm excited to be your teacher this year!  I am a graduate of Denham Springs High School and received my degree in Elementary Education at LSU in 2005.  I taught in Livingston Parish schools until 2012, then stayed home with my children until they both were old enough to go to school.  I am excited to be in Pre-K this year!  I look forward to meeting your child and sharing with them a love of learning. I live in Denham Springs with my husband and two daughters (9 and 7).  They also attend Juban Parc Elementary.  In my free time, I like to read, watch TV, garden, and play with my dog, Remy.
