Dear Parents,

Hello! I am writing to introduce myself as I am starting my sixth school year at Flocktown/Kossmann School. This is going to be a great year! I am super excited to meet and get to know each of you!

Here is just a little bit about me. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. I started my teaching career as a Speech Therapist and then went on to get my post-graduate degree in Special Education. I then worked as a Special Education teacher in the Resource Room as well as an in class support teacher for Currituck County Schools in NC for a few years and then at Morris School District here in New Jersey. I stayed home to raise my three children for a few years before I went back to subbing in town and working with Early Intervention students.

I truly believe that when parents and teachers work closely together, children have greater success in school. Any time you have a question or concern, please call the school (908-850-1010 ext 3120) or e-mail me ([email protected]) and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Yours in education,

Gina Garofalo
