This year, the 3rd grade will receive recorders to use in class and at home. Please do not lose or break them. You may purchase your own if you would like. Lost or broken recorders will be $5 to replace. Losing or forgetting your recorder will affect grades accordingly.

 

I will have students participate in a recorder "karate" program. If you are familiar with karate belts, each learning step has a test song and students can earn that difficulty color belt (yarn) to display on their recorder.
