Hello and Welcome Back!!

My name is Sarah Verbos and I am one of the newest additions to the school counseling team at Saint Leo the Great School. I am thrilled to be part of this family and working with such amazing faculty, staff, and students. I have heard wonderful things about the school as well as the community, and look forward to getting to know you all.

I wanted to take a moment to give you a little background on myself. I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation and Human Services in 2012, followed by a Master’s of Education in School Counseling from Monmouth University. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student majoring in Counselor Education and Supervision at Rutgers University. I also hold a certificate as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Play Therapy. My goal is to incorporate my combined education and experience to help ensure our students are developing socially, behaviorally, and academically.

In the year ahead, I will be working alongside Mrs. Nolan and Ms. McDonald, interacting with the students individually, in small groups, lunch bunches, and conducting classroom lessons in support of the Positivity Project. I am committed to encouragingand empowering our students to help them succeed in all their endeavors.

I look forward to working with and getting to know you and the Saint Leo the Great community. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at sverbos@stleoedu.com.

Sincerely,

Ms. Verbos, M.S.Ed
