Music Grades:

 

70% of a student’s grade is based on their weekly participation. When they come to class they are expected to follow our music rules and to try their best. Students will walk into class with a 90%. If they actively participate, they will receive 100% for the week. If they break the rules, each infraction results in –10%. 50% is the lowest and would be accompanied by a phone call home.

 

30%  of a student’s grade comes from assessments. Throughout the year, I assess instrument technique, vocal technique, and content knowledge.
