Student Work:
Each student is responsible for completing their own and original work. Although I encourage collaboration, I want every student to be proud of their individual achievement! Adult support is limited to the age of the student and level of the work assigned. Work should be submitted on the day it is due with all requirements met to the best of the student's ability.
Google Classroom/Google Meet:
Assignments should be turned into the correct and coordinating assignment on Google Classroom. Please do not e-mail assignments to me unless there is an issue with Google Classroom.
On Google Meet, please be on time with your mic muted at the beginning of the meeting. I will determine if and when mics can be turned on. Please use the chat for questions/comments during the time that mics are muted. Please come prepared to participate and with an open mind for learning and growing together!
Communication:
You can communicate with me through e-mail, direct comments on your own assignment on Google Classroom, or through Google Chat. I am here to help and make sure you have all the information and resources you need to be successful! Do not hesitate to reach out and ask questions, but please do so appropriately and through the options listed above.
Mindset:
This school year is going to look very different from others! Learning (and teaching!) online is challenging! Be patient with yourself, your classmates, and teachers. Be kind in your words and actions when interacting with others online. Be brave in trying new things (like online learning!) and asking for help when you need it! Be flexible in the ways you are being asked to learn and participate. Be mindful of how you're feeling, how you're succeeding, and how you can continue to grow!
