Dear Parent(s) or Guardian(s),

Welcome to the 2023-2024 Sayreville Strong school year. My name is Ms. Komm and I will be your child’s 7th Grade Science and/or STEM Teacher. I will do my best to keep this short and sweet as I’m sure you are inundated with multiple instructions and procedures, while trying your best to run a household and career. Within the first few days of school, students will receive a class syllabus (with detailed information) and lab safety contract to be reviewed with a parent or guardian. After review, the student and parent/guardian will be asked to sign an acknowledgement form. During this time, it is recommended to also review the student handbook (located in their Student Issued Agenda Pad) and OnCourse system.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork. I look forward to working together as a team, me, you and your child, welcoming them back to school, getting settled into a new routine and guiding them through what can be a successful school year in science class.

Students will be able to access links to frequently used websites, resources, class announcements such as quarterly exam dates, important information and so on in their OnCourse Science Classroom.

Parents and/or Guardians will be able to find information/resources on my teacher’s page.

As the school year progresses, information may change or be adapted.

Best way to contact me is by email: [email protected] . At any time there is a question, please do not hesitate to reach out.
