I have always loved teaching.  Throughout my life's journey, I sought opportunities to instruct.  I accepted teaching positions as a Kindergarten to 12th grade substitute teacher, preschool teacher, adult computer instructor and swim/lifeguarding instructor.

In order to be closer to my children, but still have the independence I desired, I chose to work as school administrative support for 18 years.  Once the timing was right, I returned to school and received a Master in Education from Drexel University in Curriculum, Instruction and Teaching.  I am currently pursuing a secondary endorsement teaching English as a Second Language.

My husband’s military career afforded me the opportunity to call Florida, Alabama, Puerto Rico, Michigan, California, New York and, finally, New Jersey home.  I love camping and traveling with my family, but equally enjoy home time, reconnecting with my ever-maturing children and playing with my dog, Otis.

I firmly believe that education is the answer to forward progress and individual empowerment.  My goal, as an educator, is to facilitate learning opportunities, encourage personal growth and to reflect the attributes of a productive contributor to society.
