Science:

We are in the beginning of Module Three of our Science Curriculum. Module three's focus is on Sense and Response. The students will learn three different concepts to understand our essential question at the end of the module which is, "How do elephants sense rainstorms from more than 100 miles away?" The students will learn theses different concepts through research and investigations that are completed in class.

The students occasionally have OPTIONAL homework. The homework is usually fun, and the students want to complete it. The students who do their optional homework do receive an incentive of a Granny Wacky Prize.

Social Studies:

We are beginning Unit Three of our social studies curriculum which is about Rebellion to Revolution. The students enjoy learning about this wonderful country began! The students have a lot of in-calss graded activities that they are required to complete. All of these in-class activites are all LEAP like to help better prepare the students.

The only homework the students have in Social Studies is to review their notes every night to keep their minds fresh on the topic, and also to complete any missed work.
