Greetings parents, I am elated to be teaching your scholars this year.This will be my fourth teaching math at Fifth Ward Elementary. This school year will be full of learning and elevation for your scholars. Please feel free to contact me with any information or questions you may have.

Student Learning: We encourage parents and guardians to be active in the student’s learning experience virtually and traditionally. Grades will be entered weekly through JCAMPUS, you will have the opportunity to view your child’s grades and attendance through Edgear. Students will have additional support by using Zearn for Math and Nearpod for ELA. Please ensure your child is prepared for learning daily.
Behavior: To promote expectations, we will us the PBIS system. Students will be rewarded points when positive behavior is shown. If students misbehave, points will be deducted and parents will be contacted. Remember we are still in a school setting if your child is virtual therefore students should be ready to learn at least 10 minutes prior to learning so that no learning is missed and consistently on task.
