I am currently the Learning Disability Teacher Consultant for the Child Study Team in our district. This is my twenty-fourth year in education, and I am the case manager for students in grades six through eight, as well as the two self-contained classrooms at Jordan Road School.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Education with a minor in English. I also hold a Master’s degree in Special Education and earned my Learning Disability Teacher Consultant certificate.
Before joining the Child Study Team, I was a classroom teacher, teaching grades K-8 as well as self-contained for eighteen years. In addition, I spent twelve years working in Early Intervention, with Sunny Days Early Intervention Services, where I had the opportunity to work closely with young children and their families, helping them meet important developmental milestones.
I am a proud member of the Council for Exceptional Children. I am dedicated to supporting students, families, and staff by providing expertise in special education and advocating for individualized learning needs.
