GRADING: Every unit we go over in class will encompass several opportunities for graded assignments. Students will be guaranteed at least six-hundred total points for each nine-week term; additionally, four-hundred of those points will be garnered from one-hundred-point tests. Furthermore, bellwork assignments, inclass activities, writing assignments, and other miscellaneous works of the class can be graded!

 

*Concerning Bellwork Assignments: Every day, upon entering class, you will have a Bellwork Assignment posted. These will be graded weekly. I grade one day per week, only I will not tell you in advance which day of the week I will grade. The Bellwork will be worth ten points per week, generally speaking. The questions are to be copied down; I will never award full credit for only writing the answers. If you only write the answers you will automatically lose five points. Additional points deducted will deal with the answers. The Bellwork is an easy way to boost and/or cushion your cumulative grade or average.

 

GRADING SCALE: The Evangeline Parish School Board utilizes the following scale:
100-93 A
92-85 B
84-75 C
74-67 D
66-0 F
