Hello K-2 Families!  My name is Mrs. Lisa Pessa and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.  I am very excited to co-teach with Mrs. Damminger, Ms. Devecchio & Mrs. LaPalomento this year!  This will be my sixth year teaching at South Harrison.  I have my Elementary Education and Sociology Degrees from Rowan.  I have also received my Special Education certification at Rowan.  Over the years, I have done many wonderful things in the field of Education including teacher, preschool director, and trainer.  Books, phonics, and science are three of my favorite things!  I also enjoy doing a variety of arts and crafts!

Spending time with my family is my favorite thing to do when I'm not at school.  I am the mother of three terrific children; Chris, Kylie and Celea!  Disney World is my favorite place in the world!  Some things I enjoy in my free time include crossword puzzles, gardening, going to the beach and watching the Eagles with my husband and dad.  I also love my animals including my 2 dogs, 5 cats and 2 birds!
