Syllabus
Supplies:
- Pencils: You can draw successfully with a regular #2 pencil. NO MECHANICAL PENCILS. However, you may wish to purchase drawing pencils ranging from 6b(very dark, soft lead) to 4h(very light, hard lead). These are not required.
- A handheld pencil sharpener
- Fine liner pens: A Sharpie fineliner, or Micron pens
- White plastic Erasers
- Sketchbook: 9x12 or larger At least 60 pages
- Ruler: metal with a cork backing works best, 18 inches is preferable
- Colored Pencils: set of 12; Prismacolor are best, but expensive. You may choose to purchase a less expensive set.
- Paint brushes: round sizes 2,4,6 and one large flat
- Palette: two plastic plates and a gallon size ziploc, or a palette box that seals closed
- Acrylic paint: Tubes of Red, Blue (ultramarine), Yellow, Black, White. Liquitex Basics makes a good set.
- A plastic water cup
