Math 7
Students enrolled in this course will build upon mathematical concepts and be introduced to pre-algebra readiness skills in preparation for Math 8. The topic covered will be aligned with the NJ State Learning Standards. The primary units of study are The Tools of Algebra, Integers, Rational Numbers, Expressions, Equations, Inequalities, Ratios, Proportions, Percent Applications, 2-D and 3-D Geometry, Data Analysis, Statistics and Probability. Student focus will be on mathematical higher order thinking skills, problem solving and technology while solving real-world problems throughtout each major unit of study.
Grading Policy for 22-23 School Year
Classwork/Homework: 30% of final grade
Quizzes: 25% of final grade
Tests: 45% of final grade
Late Work:
Will be not be accepted.

A: 90 - 100
B: 80 - 89
C: 70 - 79
D: 60 - 69
F: 0 -59
