Reader's Workshop

  

    We use the Lucy Calkin's Reader's Workshop Program.  The following are our Units of Study:

 

 1. Interpreting Characters:  The Heart of the Story

 2.Reading the Weather, Reading the World

 3.Reading History:  The American Revolution

 4.Historical Fiction Clubs

 

Reading Homework

Students should read each night Monday-Thursday for 20 minutes and complete one journal entry by Friday
